Reed Ranchero B&B

The Reed Ranchero is a funky California Ranch-style home set in the rolling foothills of North San Diego and filled with fun, oddities and a few bonafide antiques. If you find anything that is boring, please call our hotline and we'll get right on it.  
 
The innkeepers, Ralph and Candice Reed don't take themselves too seriously, but they do care very much about your comfort, and hope you will enjoy yourselves during your stay.  They offer a full gourmet breakfast each morning made by Candice, who is a pretty darn good cook if she says so herself.

In each of the two rooms (a third is on its way) you will find 100% cotton sheets, music, cable TV,  and tons of great books.  There is a small pool in the summer and a 'Great Lawn' where you can either relax year-round or play a rousing game of Bocce Ball or Croquet--- it's your call. The B&B is situated close enough to the beach----7 miles----but far enough away to avoid the occasional June Gloom. 

Chairs and a fire pit are scattered around the property, so you can lounge all over the place while surrounded by tall trees, lavender bushes and an ocean breeze. Ahhhh, it doesn't get much better than this.
